It has been several years since I had a personal blog of my own. I have had a few over the years, along with collaborative blogs. Like the people that worked with me on those collaborative blogs, they have all come and gone over the years.
And over the past few years my friends have encouraged me to start a blog all over again. Part of me has been reluctant to because, like any manner of communication whether it would be the telegram, to the television to the telephone, technology goes in phases. One minute that large RCA projection television set in your Uncle Irv's living room is hot, the next minute it's rusting away somewhere in your local landfill.
Blogging has become somewhat of the same thing. It was the "hip and happening" thing for all the cool kids years ago. But it got to the point where everyone has one; chances are good that even your Uncle Irv's goldfish had a blog.
So why bother? Ah - peer pressure from friends. And maybe doing the things that are uncool and are unhip is much more fun than going with the flow.
This blog is intentionally lo-fi. It's on the old free blogspot.com. This used to be someone else's blog address several years ago before they gave it up. Plus, I didn't design one pixel of this template you are seeing here. It's strictly lo-fi and unhip.
So here's to going against the flow...
